Training that can be evidenced

Why we built it

Completing professional training is straightforward. Proving you completed it — two years later, to someone who needs documentation — usually is not. Most training leaves you with a PDF in an inbox, and a PDF can be edited by anyone who opens it.

We built CPT around that problem. Every certificate we issue carries a unique reference that resolves to a public page on this domain. An employer, an auditor, or a regulator can confirm a record in seconds without contacting us and without relying on a forwarded attachment.

How the courses work

Each course is a recorded seminar you can watch whenever suits, on any device, picking up where you stopped. When you have watched enough of the material, a short assessment unlocks: ten questions drawn at random from a larger bank, with a pass mark of seven out of ten. Pass it and your Certificate of Attendance is issued immediately.

The watch requirement is deliberate. Assessment alone proves you can answer questions; it does not evidence attendance. Requiring the material to actually be watched — measured as elapsed playback, so skipping to the end achieves nothing — is what makes the hours defensible if anyone examines them.

What's available

The catalogue currently runs to 11 courses and 14.25 CPT hours, covering anti-money laundering and counter-financing of terrorism, funds and asset management, corporate governance and ESG reporting, digital assets, private wealth, and Hong Kong licensing. Several are free with registration.

Courses are written against the Hong Kong regime as it stands — ordinances, codes, and the regulators' published expectations — rather than general international material with a local chapter bolted on.

An honest word on CPT hours

We state the CPT hours each course carries, and we issue certificates that record them. What we cannot do is guarantee that any particular professional body will accept them towards its own requirements. Different bodies recognise different providers and apply their own rules.

If the hours need to count towards a specific requirement, check with that body first. We would rather say this plainly than have you discover it at the end of a CPT year.
